Parking and Transportation:
To help minimize the impact of planned street closures, Firefighters and guests attending the service without fire apparatus are encouraged to utilize free parking and a complimentary shuttle service. To take advantage of the shuttle service, please park at the:

We are pleased to provide an interactive map with driving directions. Please arrive early. The shuttle service begins at 7:00 AM. At the conclusion of the Memorial Service, shuttles will pick up passengers just east of the Cathedral.
...those arriving with Fire Apparatus:
Those bringing fire apparatus should have completed and returned an RSVP and contact form. Fire apparatus staging will begin at 7:00 AM Friday morning at the intersection of Fourth Street and Main Street in downtown Los Angeles. Apparatus should approach this initial staging location from the south and be guided by uniformed LAFD personnel.
Fire apparatus and emergency vehicles will be directed from the above location to park along the route of the Walking Procession and in the vicinity of the Cathedral.
There are special instructions for Color Guards from allied agencies.
Elements of the Memorial Service...
WALKING PROCESSION
The Walking Procession for public officials, uniformed Firefighters, Law Enforcement Officers and EMS personnel will begin at 8:30 AM from the intersection of First Street and Main Street (some maps refer to this section of First Street as 'Tom Bradley Boulevard'), near the south lawn of Los Angeles City Hall.

The Walking Procession will end at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, a distance of five city blocks. At the conclusion of the Walking Procession, guests will be directed to their assigned seating locations within the Cathedral.
CHURCH SERVICES
The Memorial Service in Los Angeles will begin at 9:30 AM at:

Following public services at the Cathedral in Los Angeles, a family funeral to which all are welcome will begin at 1:00 PM at:
Calvary Chapel Downey
12808 Woodruff Avenue
Downey, CA 90242
We are pleased to offer an interactive map and driving directions to the Calvary Chapel Downey, for those who may wish to attend.
At the conclusion of the Downey service, our Brother Brent will be privately interred at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
MEMORIAL RECEPTION
Immediately following the Cathedral service in Los Angeles (approximately 12:00 Noon), all attendees are invited to a Memorial Reception with food and refreshments at:
